What is the Kreston GCFG?
The Kreston GCFG is a group of specialist, experienced corporate financiers from within Kreston International member firms. To become a member of this group, individuals must be able to demonstrate significant interest and active involvement in Corporate Finance transactions.
Services Covered :
Corporate Finance Services are traditionally categorised between Lead Advisory and Transaction Support.
It is recognised that not all member firms have the resources to offer Corporate Finance services and some may only be able to offer a selection.
Members of the group as a whole though can provide:
Lead Advisory:
- Strategic Development
- Acquisitions & Disposals (M&A)
- Fundraising - both Equity and Debt
- Refinancings
- Business Plans
- Financial Projections
- Corporate valuations
Transaction Support:
- Due diligence (pre-acquisition, pre-investment, pre-lend)
- Reporting Accountant ( Initial public offerings (IPOs) and Listings ).

What is the Kreston GCFG?
Our goal is to increase aggregate fees generated by Kreston International member firms, both directly through corporate finance fees, and by fees generated for other streams by corporate finance contacts and introductions.
Behaviour code :
By their use of this internal facing portal, all members of the Kreston GCFG acknowledge the need for and commit to ensuring that any information posted to it will be kept confidential.
It is recognised by members that this is, in any case, paramount within a professional Corporate Finance environment.
However, it is also a requirement of Paragraph 9.1 (e) of the operating rules, contained in a schedule to the Kreston International Members’ Agreement.
This requires that a member will adhere, as a minimum, to the ethical requirements of the IESBA (formerly the International Federation of Accountants’ (IFAC)) Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants, which incorporates the need for confidentiality. Members are also bound by their national ethical guidelines, some of which may differ from, or exceed the requirements of the IESBA rules.
Given the above, all information shared within the GCFG is done so without the need for separate NDAs and is to be treated as confidential by its members. No information is to be shared with third parties outside of the GCFG without the express approval of the Partner that has provided that information and without an NDA having been completed by the third party if that Partner determines that this is necessary.

- By creating a group of knowledgeable, experienced professionals.
- Facilitating greater and more effective communication within the group and with other specialists as required.
- Sharing marketing material, document precedents, research material and market information.
- Sharing transaction opportunities and seeking input / introductions to contacts to achieve a successful completion.
- Sharing fees where appropriate, recognising the value of each member’s input.
- Maximising fees where it is possible for member firms to act for different parties to the transaction.
- Assisting fellow members to win new work through joint pitches, sharing experience / track record etc.
- Facilitating cross border introductions and transactions.
- Assisting Kreston member firms, who do not have Corporate Finance resources, to deliver such services to their clients.
- Building the local and international profile of the group, within Kreston and externally by promoting group successes.
